Pastor's Biography
Our Pastor is among the most anointed in the city of Baltimore. It is our pleasure to introduce and put you in contact with such a great gifted and anointed Man of God.
Elder Louis M Shufford, SrPastor and Founder of The Way of Holiness Church of Jesus Christ Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland and an Elder in the Centeral Eastern District of the New Born Lighthouse Churches of The Apostolic Faith Inc. Which at this time has over 30 Churches in membership.
On January 31, 1967, Louis Mandel Shufford was born in Baltimore, Maryland where he grew, was educated and still resides today, with his beautiful wife of 5 wonderful years, Sister Caroline G. Shufford and two beautiful children.
This man of God is truly anointed. He has come from the world broken and bruised. No, he was not a good child as some claim to have been but, will share with everyone, how the enemy of God used him to promote wickedness and destruction for many years.
BUT GOD.......
Came and snatched this young man out of the midst of the worldly influences, mind set and lifestyles. God created a new creature, new indeed. He has transformed him into one of His most precious servants. Who better to use than the very ones who know how it feel, to be in the situations of those in whom you’re sent to help?
Out of a strong compassion to serve God to the fullest of his ability, In the month of December 2008 Elder Shufford through prayer, fasting and a multitude of council began to lay down the bricks of The Way of Holiness Church of Jesus Christ, upon the strong and unmovable foundation of OUR LORD and SAVOIR CHRIST JESUS.
On July 19, 2009 in Chicago Illinois, at The Inspired Word Church, under Bishop Nathaniel Williams. Elder Shufford was ordained and accepted into the family of The New Born Lighthouse Churches of The Apostolic Faith Inc. by the General Overseer Bishop Winfer Turner and Vice General Overseer Bishop Allen Roach.
Being a new Pastor, Elder Shufford is currently establishing Ministries and is laying bricks in the community God has placed him in.
The scripture that he is most fond of and you can see it in his interactions with others is, "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." (Matthew 7:12)
